Mat and Miranda are passionate followers of Jesus on a mission to ascribe God the glory due His name and declare His marvelous works to all the nations.
In 2012, the Adams were sent out from their local church, Grace Evangelical Free Church, as missionaries with Africa Inland Mission for almost 3 years in Busi, Tanzania, a Muslim unreached people group. Their ministry consisted of sharing the gospel, building a library that turned into a kindergarten, and training pastors.
They have been active members at Grace since 2009 and have served in many ministry roles, including leading small groups, leading congregational music, teaching, and preaching.
Mat and Miranda are Global Partners with Training Leaders International and Mat travels overseas to train pastors in a modular setting primarily in Ethiopia.
Mat obtained a BA in Global Studies (missiology) and an MA in Theology from Bethlehem College & Seminary.
Mat and Miranda are looking to a future life and ministry in Ethiopia in the spring of 2024.
They have six daughters and live in Circle Pines, Minnesota.
